Asian Association for Algorithms and Computation (AAAC)\u00a0was founded in 2007, aiming at promoting collaborations of Asian scientists\u00a0in all areas of theoretical computer science. Its inaugural meeting was held in\u00a0Hong Kong on April 26-27,\u00a02008<\/span><\/a>, its second meeting in Hangzhou, China on\u00a0April 11-12,\u00a02009<\/span><\/a>, its third meeting in Pohang, Korea on\u00a0April 17-19, 2010<\/span><\/a>, its fourth meeting in HsinChu<\/span>,\u00a0Taiwan on April 16-17, 2011, its fifth meeting in Shanghai, China on April 21-22,\u00a02012<\/span><\/a>, its sixth meeting in\u00a0Matsushima on\u00a0April 19-21,\u00a02013<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0Japan, its seventh meeting in Huangshan, China on May 17-19,\u00a02014<\/span><\/a>, and its eighth meeting in Hiroshima, Japan on May 9-10,\u00a02015<\/a>.<\/p>\n

AAAC 2016<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The 9th Annual Meeting of the AAAC\u00a0will take place at National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan on May 14-16, 2016. We invite\u00a0submissions of abstracts presenting original research or surveys in theoretical\u00a0computer science.<\/p>\n

Meeting Format<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The meeting consists of two invited talks, two tutorials, and parallel contributed talks, of which possibly 8-10 will be accepted as\u00a0long talks. 20-30 minutes will be given to each accepted talk. The two tutorials will be scheduled in the afternoons of May 14 (Saturday) and 16 (Monday), respectively. Talks start around 9 a.m. on May 15 (Sunday) and end around 5 p.m. on 16 (Monday). There will be a welcome reception in the evening of May 14 and a conference dinner banquet in the evening of May 15.<\/p>\n

Paper Submission<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Authors are invited to submit one-page\u00a0(A4) abstracts (in pdf format) that can be based on original results or survey\u00a0of existing results. Informal working notes including the one-page abstracts\u00a0will be distributed at the meeting, which does not prevent any form of future\u00a0publication of the same work. All submissions should be made electronically.\u00a0Papers are now being accepted through the EasyChair Conference System.<\/p>\n
